Learn about me

My name is Elia Torres Soto and I have over two decades of experience supporting individuals and families navigating the complexities of aging and cognitive decline. I was born and raised in Puerto Rico and moved to the Washington, DC area in 2001 to pursue a Master’s Degree in Science-Bilingual Speech and Language Pathology. For the next 20 years, I dedicated my career to helping individuals communicate more effectively.

As a Certified Dementia Practitioner and holder of multiple certifications from the Alzheimer’s Association, I offer expert guidance, grounded in compassion and clinical knowledge. Today, I works as an Associate Care Manager, helping older adults and their families plan for long-term care needs, connect with vital resources, and respond to urgent, often overwhelming situations with clarity and support.

My approach is deeply rooted in my faith. I am a spiritual person who believes in seeking God’s guidance in both my personal and professional life. This foundation shapes the way I supports families—leading with empathy, patience and a sincere desire to serve with integrity and love.

I am passionate about empowering families with the tools, knowledge and advocacy they need to make confident, informed decisions about their loved ones’ care.
